Corrib is a unique property set in a prime location in Constantine Bay. With stunning sea views and just five minutes walk from the wide sandy beach via a footpath from the garden gate, this is a very popular house.
Corrib has recently been exceptionally well renovated and interior designed. The entire house is furnished and fitted out to five star standards with great attention to comfort and detail.
The main house has a wide entrance hall leading to a spacious open plan dining room and sitting area with oak flooring throughout. The sitting area features bi-fold doors which open out to provide a stunning view over the sea towards Trevose Head. There is also a large separate drawing room with a sea view, fireplace and wall mounted flat screen television. The well planned kitchen is superbly fitted with high quality appliances as is the large utility room. There is a shower guest cloakroom off the hall.
Upstairs there are five bedrooms, two of which have en-suite bathrooms. Four of the bedrooms have great sea views and a long sheltered balcony also enjoys the wonderful views. There is a further bathroom off the landing.
A separate building, known as Little Corrib, stands a few steps from the house. Recently updated and furnished to an equally high standard, it provides a large downstairs games room and a bedroom with bathroom upstairs. Corrib's extensive garden is mainly lawned with terraces on both sides of the house. For the golf enthusiast, the house is adjacent to the second tee of the Trevose Championship Course.

From the outside Corrib looks like a large traditional style holiday home, which it is and when you walk through the front door, you immediately get the well designed blends of style, quality and space. Corrib is an exceptionally beautiful holiday home that was superbly renovated and extended in 2011 by the current owners.
Dining Room & Sitting Area
Upon walking into this beautiful large open plan room with engineered wood floor, your eye is immediately drawn to the view through the large bi-fold doors of the well kept expansive garden, as well as the great view of the sea by Trevose head. In the warmer months, it's a great option to be able to open up the bi-fold doors to make your own picture perfect scene! The sitting area comprises of a stylish double sofa, two single chairs, an occasional glass topped coffee table and all set on a large sea grass mat. The perfect place to sit, relax and take in the views and sea air!
The spacious dining room area is excellent and the large wooden dining table easily copes with 10-12 guests. If you would like music with your dinner or breakfast then just connect your iPOD into the dock and your choice of music will float out of the wall mounted speakers.
Another beautiful room that has been styled with impeccable taste is the large sitting room. This is a great room for relaxing in, maybe a quiet room or getting everyone together for family and friends time. In one half of the room there is a working fireplace (with fireguard) which would be really cosy on a winters night and a selection of chairs, sofa, tables, built in book shelves and some task lighting. There is also an iPOD docking station for you to play your iPOD or iPHONE. In the other half of the room, there is a corner sofa, more chairs, tables and a wall hung Sony flatscreen television. In addition to the television there is a Sanyo DVD player and a Sky+ HD upgraded package that includes Sky sports and Sky movies.
The kitchen is very impressive and a great deal of thought has gone into its creation. The painted white oak kitchen cabinet doors are set off beautifully by the granite worktops and the wooden floor. It is no suprise that the kitchen has been has been well designed to the owners exacting specification so that it works perfectly for a full house of people. The high quality kitchen appliances include; Two single Neff ovens, Neff halogen hob (wide), Bosch microwave, Neff dishwasher (there is another dishwasher in the utility), two integrated fridge/freezers, stainless steel Franke sink and a Nespresso coffee machine. It is also well equipped with the necessary kitchen equipment to help all standards of chefs!
Downstairs Shower Room
This is perfect for people coming back from the beach. Walk in the house via the rear door of the utility room straight into the stylish shower room. The floors and walls of the shower room have been tiled and there is a walk in shower with glass side panel. In addition to the ceiling mounted shower rose, there is also a traditional shower handset for washing your hair.
The utility room is very large and well equipped. The floor is a really practical slate finish and there are a selection of base cupboards, tall larder style unit and a wood worktop. It is well equipped with quality appliances that include; AEG lavamat washing machine, AEG lavatherm tunble drier and a Bosch free standing dishwaher.

The upstairs is accessed via the wooden staircase in the dining room area up to a large and well lit hallway. All the bedrooms and the hallway are carpeted.
Master Bedroom & En-suite Bathroom
Situated like nearly all of the bedrooms at Corrib, on the sea facing side of the property, there is a great view of the garden and the sea at Trevose head. This is a large and stylish bedroom with a 6ft super king size bed, built in wardrobes, bedside cabinets, dressing table with chair and a tall drawer unit. The en-suite bathroom is well proportioned with tiled floor, white walls and white sanitary ware. The bath has a telephone bath shower mixer tap for washing your hair and there is also a WC, white ceramic bowl set into a vanity base unit, mirror and a heated towel rail.
You can use this bedroom as a quiet room or as a single bedroom. Whatever the use, the views of the sea are very good. The room has black out blinds as well as a door that opens onto the balcony, glass table, chair and a wall mounted coathanger rail.
You would be forgiven for wanting to spend a lot of your time on the first floor balcony with its stunning views of the gardens, the sea and part of the Trevose golf course. You can access the balcony through either bedroom two or there is a separate door from the landing. There are a several chairs and a round table for your use and the glass screen helps to reduce the effects of any wind.
Another beautiful bedroom with raised angled ceilings and of course, a sea and golf course view! The bed is a zip and link so you can either have a super king bed or two 3ft singles. The bedroom is also well equipped with a double wardrobe, 4 drawer storage unit, bedside tables and a wall hung mirror.
With a well designed high angular ceiling, this bathroom is superbly presented with built in panelled bath and a telephone mixer shower tap, WC, basin, wall mounted mirror and heated towel rail. Additional light is brought into the room by a roof mounted Velux window.
This bedroom faces the front of the house and has views over the front garden. The bed is a zip and link so you can either have it made as super king bed or 2 x 3ft singles. It has one built in single wardrobe and a very welcome inset cermic sink area that is cleverly hidden away behind a cupboard door. Other bedroom furniture includes two bedside tables, drawer unit and wall hung mirror.
Bedroom Five & En-suite Bathroom
Another beautiful sea facing bedroom with a zip & link bed and a high angular ceiling. It also has two bedside tables, built in wardrobe, 4 drawer unit and a wall mounted mirror. This bedroom also has its own en-suite bath room which is tastefully presented with a built in bath & telephone shower mixer tap, inset basin, WC, large wall mounted mirror and two heated towel rails.

Walk to the Beach
A wide gate in the far right hand corner of the garden opens on to the footpath leading directly to the beach at Constantine Bay - a 5 minute walk. There is also a gate to this path from the upper part of the garden.
The extensive, largely secluded garden is planted with various attractive low hedges and is mainly lawned with a large flat area on the coast side of the house. There are low-built traditional Cornish stone walls towards the lower part of the garden which are surrounded by sloping grassy areas.
The large west-facing paved terrace in front of the bi-fold doors has several chairs round a long teak table and, with the Weber gas barbeque close by, it is ideal for al fresco dining during the warmer months. In addition, there are comfortable teak sun loungers for relaxing and enjoying the views. At the front of the house (on the eastern side) there is another square terrace which is very sheltered and also has a teak dining table, chairs and large parasol.
The drive leads into a large parking area with plenty of space for turning.

Little Corrib is a detached two-storey building located on the golf course side of the garden, 12 metres away from the main house. At the end of 2012 it was renovated, decorated and furnished to the same high standard as the house.
The entrance door is approached from the parking area and opens directly into a light and spacious Games Room with oak flooring throughout. In one half of the room there is a 7ft x 3ft, 6 inchs pool table which has an additional top to convert it into a full-sized table tennis table. In the other half of the room there is a large corner sofa and a wall-mounted flat screen TV with PS3 with DVD player. An extra 4-drawer deep freeze is tucked away under the stairs.
This calm, attractive and fully-carpeted double bedroom has zip and link beds, a dressing table/desk, a chest of drawers and a built-in hanging cupboard. From the roofline window there are excellent views over the golf course towards Booby’s Bay.
Practically designed with basin set into limestone vanity top, bath with hand shower attachment, WC, heated towel rail and limestone tiled floor.
At the back of Little Corrib there is a separate entrance door to a walk-in drying cupboard with plenty of hanging space for wetsuits, swimming kit and golfing waterproofs etc. Alongside this there is an external shower for washing off sand and warming up after surfing and swimming.
A few steps beyond Little Corrib is the top garden gate to the footpath - left leads to the beach and right to the golf club.

We had the most wonderful stay. The property is ideal in every way – the most beautiful location and the most beautiful house. Every detail was perfect – the rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and the owners have thought of everything that one needs for a perfect holiday home. I would recommend it to everyone I know – except for the fact that I’d rather keep it to myself! We will definitely return if we can find a time it’s not booked up!
