Kitchen/Dining Room

Walk in from the lobby or French doors into the exquisitely furnished open plan kitchen and dining room. Sat under wooden beams, the bespoke kitchen has granite worktops, ceramic double bowl sink, Rayburn, Smeg traditional Fridge freezer and Miele dishwasher. There is a range of helpful cookery books and a good range of kitchen equipment. The flooring is beautifully done using random sized large slate flagstones which also benefit from under floor heating. Also within the kitchen is a small LCD flatscreen that enjoys the full Sky package, a Nespresso coffee machine and a wall panel to access a fabulous networked Crestron music system.

The dining room area is furnished with a range of antiques including a distressed oval table, seating for eight. Under the stairs there is a cupboard where you can place your iPOD into the dock and then access it via the Crestron wall panel. From the window you can look down onto the Camel estuary and watch a myriad of water sports activity

Utility

With the same kitchen and worktops as the main kitchen, the utility also has a Miele washing machine, Miele tumble drier, microwave and a single under mount stainless steel sink. 

Study

Following on with large slate flagstones, the study has an antique writing desk, its own Crestron wall panel for accessing the radio, CD’s or your iPOD and fitted cupboards which house a selection of games and puzzles.

Downstairs Shower/Wet Room

On opening what seems to be a large cupboard door, you enter the secret and spacious downstairs shower room which is brilliantly well thought out. It has a floor to ceiling glass panel acting as a shower screen, Douche antique style thermostatic shower, Jacob Delafon sanitary ware and all set on a slate flag stone floor.

Lounge

A very stylish and tastefully furnished lounge with wooden floors, antique furniture, individual lamps and it also benefits from a small wood burner for those cosy winter nights. The stunning view from the windows and side door looks down across Porthilly/Rock, the Camel estuary and across to Padstow which is a treat by day or night. The audio visual equipment includes a LCD flat screen television with full Sky package, Denon DVD player, selection of DVD’s and a Crestron wall panel.

Bedroom One

Affectionately known as the children’s room, but often frequented by bigger children! This wooden floored bedroom has two single beds which are positioned toe to toe. There is a wall mounted LCD television, Denon DVD player, Wii games console together with drum kit, guitar and a few games. As with the other downstairs rooms, there is a wall panel to access the Crestron music system and a selection of children’s books.

Bedroom Two - En-suite Shower Room

Beautifully furnished twin bedroom with wooden floors, built in wardrobes, antique furniture and a BOSE iPOD music system. The en-suite is simply idyllic and it has a large walk in shower with a large rain showerhead, separate shower attachment and is enclosed by a large glass panel. Apart from the obvious bathroom fittings, there are also Jo Malone toiletries for you to use.

Bedroom Three & En-suite Bathroom

Wake up in the morning, pull back the curtains, jump back into bed and take in the estuary views through two rectangular windows! A very stylish and classy bedroom with king size bed, antique furniture and a BOSE iPOD system. The en-suite, like the rest of the house, oozes quality and individuality. There is a large oval type shaped bath with wall mounted bath taps, glass shower screen and a thermostatic shower with rain shower head & separate hand held shower.

Bedroom Four with En-suite Bathroom

This bedroom is very similar to bedroom three and whilst it only has one bedroom window to take in the stunning views, it also has one built in wardrobe and two built in cupboards.

There is no shower in the en-suite but it more than makes up for it with a classy roll top bath. On the bath taps there is a hand held shower for hair washing.

Treverra Cottage

As you will see from the plan, Treverra Cottage shares the gardens with Treverra House and both properties have joint use of the outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, Jacuzzi and garage wet room. Due to the size and privacy of the site, this works very well. You can, occasionally book Treverra House so that you have the whole 14 acres to yourself and extend the sleeping capacity to 18.

Landscaped Gardens

A lot of coastal gardening knowledge and attention to detail has gone into creating the large landscaped gardens at Treverra. The gardens genuinely look different in the changing seasons, mainly through clever planting schedules. At night time, you can illuminate the gardens, tennis court and swimming pool.

Heated Infinity Swimming Pool & Jacuzzi

An incredible outdoor infinity swimming pool that would look at home in any James Bond movie. The pool is approximately 15 metres long and is cleverly positioned so that it takes in the breathtaking views across Porthilly/Rock and to Padstow. There is also a changing room, toilet and storage area by the pool and if you want to chill out to your music whilst swimming or sunbathing, just place your iPOD in the docking station and relax.  The Jacuzzi is positioned right on the side of the pool and can be covered when not in use. Also by the pool there is an external pool shower and a selection of sun loungers. The pool is normally available to use between Easter until the end of October. For an additional cost, the pool can also be used outside of these times, subject to no scheduled maintenance and advance notice.

Tennis Court

There is one fenced off tennis court to the rear of the cottage and there are also tennis rackets in the cottage that you can use.

Vegetable Garden

The gardener normally plants vegetables in the vegetable garden at certain times of the year and if there is anything in there that you want to use whilst staying at Treverra, please feel free!

Private Parking

There is parking for 2/3 cars for Treverra Cottage to the front of Treverra House but we can make more avaliable on the estate should this be necessary. The Treverra Estate is accessed via its own private lane which is a bit bumpy which may be a problem with low to ground cars and the ever growing hedge vegetation does overhang the lane at times throughout the seasons.
