Wine Cellar

If you are looking for extreme wow factors, then the air conditioned wine cellar at Treverra House will definitely be one of them. This inspirational room with its flagstone slate floor, wooden benches, antique table and ceiling hung candelabras is just beautifully and cleverly done. The use of the cellar would suit special occasions, celebrations, meetings, dinner parties and much more. From the main kitchen to the cellar, there is a dumbwaiter lift to easily move food items between the two floors.

Note: This room is only avaliable if it is booked for specific occasions, otherwise it will be locked.

Gym - Air Conditioned

The air conditioned Treverra House gym is a superb feature of this property. Set on a sprung oak floor, there is ample equipment for the most demanding of workouts. There are a selection of weights, steps, excercise cycle, step climber, gym ball, pull up bar and you can watch youself working out in the large mirrored wall. If we organise therapists to visit Treverra then there is also a luxury treatment table located within the gym. For your entertainment, there is a wall hung flatscreen television which has the full Sky TV package. The gym also has its own Crestron touch screen wall panel to access the iPOD dock upstairs, as well as the radio, or you can plug in your own iPOD to the gym stsyem. As with the rest of the house, you can also set the lighting in the gym to various preset lighting patterns. There is also a large shower for cooling off after the workout which has two rainfall effect showerheads by the sauna and steam room.

Sauna & Steamroom

At Treverra House, nothing is done by halves and within the gym, there is a separate Sauna and separate steamroom for helping aid body cleansing and detoxification.

Laundry Room

There is a well equipped laundry room with a stainless steel sink, granite worktops, laminate top and storage cupboards. The appliances include a Bosch tumble drier, Miele washing machine and a Bosch commercial washing machine.

Cloakroom

Serving the ground floor is a cloakroom with WC, sink and heated towel rail.

Kitchen/ Dining Room/ Larder

The kitchen and wood beamed dining room is a very impressive and beautifully finished large room that can easily accommodate ten people around the dining tables. The white bulthaup kitchen is perfectly set on the beautiful wide wood planked, Dineson Douglas floor. As with everything at Treverra House, the kitchen is very practical with stainless steel worktops with a built under stainless steel bowl. There is a dual fuel Wolf range cooker with gas rings & built in French top, Miele dishwasher, Sub zero refrigerator, pull out freezer drawers, dumbwaiter down to the cellar and a built in Gaggenau deep fat fryer. The larder, which is accessed from a door in the kitchen, has plenty of shelving and racking for food storage as well as another built in Sub Zero refrigerator and a built in wine cooler.

If you wish to dine alfresco, just open the two sets of French doors and sit outside and take in the glorious views across the Camel Estuary.

If you enjoy listening to music, then most of the house is most definitely wired for sound using a state of the art Crestron system which is accessed via a touch screen wall panel. From the wall panel you can access your iPOD as well as access the radio. The wall panel also controls the lighting so you can adjust all the lights to how you want them. There is also a small flat screen television within the kitchen.

Living Room

With a mix of antique and modern furniture the wood beamed living room is a beautiful room which also has two sets of French doors that open onto a slate terrace. There is also a feature fireplace with a stylish log burner, flat screen television with access to Sky TV and a touch screen Crestron wall panel.

Family Room

Another beautiful room with Treverra’s unique style blueprint of integrating the modern with the antique. There are a mixture of leather sofas, foot stools and a long fitted desktop. Dominating the room is a large geological map of Devon and Cornwall. To entertain there is a wall mounted flat screen television with built in speakers, Blue ray player, Sky television, Playstation 3, Denon control unit and a Crestron touch screen wall panel. There is also a selection of DVD’s to watch as well as well as a selection of books and magazines.

Boot Room

The boot room is  equipped with Kitchen cupboards, granite tops, white ceramic sink and a large floor to ceiling boot & shoe rack. There is also an external door leading to the side of the property.

Cloakroom

Serving the first floor there is a WC, sink and heated towel rail.

Master Bedroom & En-suite

Very stylish master bedroom which is beautifuly presented with some antique furniture, all set perfectly on the sumptious wide wood planked Dineson Douglas floor. There is an excellent 5ft bed, two built in wardrobes, Chaise Longue and antique bureau style cabinet. Music lovers will celebrate the audio system which is controlled via a desktop Crestron controller. With this, you can connect into the house radio system or your iPOD via the docking station in the bedroom. You can choose audio for the bedroom, the en-suite or both! If you are looking for inspiration in the morning, just take a look at the superb views from the bedroom window.

The en-suite is very impressive and finished to exceptional standards. Set behind two separate glass doors is a WC or large walk in shower. Whilst showering, you can choose a variety of different showering experiences with the hansgrohe rainfall head. Other bathroom fittings include two hand basins set into sandstone tops, two sets of large drawer units and a set in oval ended bath.

Bedroom 5

Beautifully furnished bedroom with well thought out antique furniture and fittings. The bed is 5ft bed and there are two built in wardrobes, drawer unit and two bedside cabinets. Whilst this room does not have access to the in-house audio system, it does have a BOSE iPOD sound deck. Great views of camel estuary and part of Rock.

Bedroom 4

Another creatively furnished bedroom with a unique design for antique coffee jars! The room also has a 5ft bed, two built in wardrobes, drawer unit and great views of the camel estuary.

Shower room

Serving bedrooms four and five is a good sized shower room with large walk in shower, Duravit sanitaryware and beautifully finished with brownish mosaic tiles. The showerhead is built into the ceiling with lights and a choice of showering options!

Bedroom 3 & En-suite

At home in any style setting magazine, this bedroom has a high ceiling, wood beams and lovely antique furniture. There is a 6ft bed, free standing shelved robe and bedside cabinets.

A very long but exceptionally beautiful ensuite with a large walk in shower, sandstone tops, two sinks and an inset bath. The showerhead can be easily adjusted for different showering experiences. 

Bedroom 2 & En-suite

Very Vogue like and captivating bedroom with twin 3ft beds, wooden floors, beamed ceiling, bedside table, freestanding antique wardrobe and stylish drawer unit.

This en-suite bathroom is just picture perfect with its freestanding steel feature bath which is great for a long deep soak. There is naturally a WC and heated towel rail.

Treverra House

As you will see from the plan, Treverra House shares the gardens with Treverra Cottage and both properties have joint use of the outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, Jacuzzi and garage wet room. Due to the size and privacy of the site, this works very well. You can book Treverra Cottage (subject to availability) so that you have the whole 14 acres to yourself and extend the sleeping capacity to 18.

Landscaped Gardens

A lot of coastal gardening knowledge and attention to detail has gone into creating the large landscaped gardens at Treverra. The gardens genuinely look different in the changing seasons, mainly through clever planting schedules. At night time, you can illuminate the gardens, tennis court and swimming pool.

Heated Infinity Swimming Pool & Jacuzzi

An incredible outdoor infinity swimming pool that would look at home in any James Bond movie. The pool is approximately 15 metres long and is cleverly positioned so that it takes in the breathtaking views across Porthilly/Rock and to Padstow. There is also a changing room, toilet and storage area by the pool and if you want to chill out to your music whilst swimming or sunbathing, just place your iPOD in the docking station and relax.  The Jacuzzi is positioned right on the side of the pool and can be covered when not in use. Also by the pool there is an external pool shower and a selection of sun loungers. The pool is normally available to use between Easter until the end of October. For an additional cost, the pool can also be used outside of these times, subject to no scheduled maintenance and advance notice.

Tennis Court

There is one fenced off tennis court to the rear of the cottage and there are also tennis rackets in the house that you can use.

Vegetable Garden

The gardener normally plants vegetables in the vegetable garden at certain times of the year and if there is anything in there that you want to use whilst staying at Treverra, please feel free!

Private Parking

There is parking for 4/5 cars for Treverra House but we can make more avaliable on the estate should this be necessary. The Treverra Estate is accessed via its own private lane.

Note: Treverra House is only avaliable to rent occasionally.
