Ednovean House is a fantastically large, 6 bedroom holiday home that has undergone a phenomenal amount of renovation, resulting in a breathtaking holiday home with excellent sea views that span across to St Michael’s Mount and Mousehole. 

The enormous open plan kitchen and dining area is like no other, it really is the ‘piece de resistance’ in this property. This superb space comprises a sleek modern kitchen with central island and large dining space that can more than accommodate 14 guests; beautifully lit through huge glass sliding doors that perfectly frame the sea view and St Michael’s Mount.

Equally as grand and sociable is the large double-ended lounge, featuring a contemporary fireplace with open fire. There is also another separate TV room, utility room, study and a wet room.

Upstairs comprises of six beautifully designed and furnished bedrooms – four of which benefit from fantastic sea views and contemporary en-suites. The further two bedrooms share a large luxurious family bathroom.

The ground floor of Ednovean House is dominated by two fantastic large rooms: the kitchen and diner, and the living room. Both rooms have been designed to provide spacious areas of comfort, luxury and togetherness whilst making the absolute most of sweeping views across the manicured garden, fields of horses, St Michael’s Mount and Mounts Bay.

There are dedicated spaces for entire groups to come together for meals, films, games and general socialising, without impeding the ability to find time and space for solitude and individual preferences.

Kitchen/Dining Area

A place to drink & dine, sit at the breakfast bar enjoying  a cup of coffee and the morning paper, and come together for breakfast lunch or dinner around the stretching wooden dining table. It can’t be said enough how wonderful this kitchen is. Designed to an exceptionally high specification; sleek, sophisticated and functional, featuring a grey slate feature wall on to which a flat screen television is mounted – this is an area that will seldom remain deserted.

This room is an excellent feature of the property, particularly for special occasions. Large dinners and gatherings work so well in this beautiful kitchen and dining area; enormous sliding patio doors completely open up this space, extending to the large patio and garden, where more seating and sensational views await.

Living Room

The most striking feature about the living room, other than its grand size, are the two enormous window seats that stretch across the deep bay windows. Daybeds in their own right, this is the place to stretch out and get stuck into a book or magazine whilst surrounded on three sides by beautifully kept gardens and views down to St Michael’s Mount.

The living room makes fantastic use of space, uniquely double ended with seating at both ends of this long room. A large wall mounted flat screen television and supple leather sofa and chairs sit at one end of the room, a sumptuous L-shaped sofa and seating at the other – perfect for a cosy evening in front of a smaller TV.

A lovely feature of this room is the ability to hide all televisions away and enjoy this room as a family without distractions. Both TV’s have dedicated cupboards and doors that neatly tuck them away.

Media Room

Cosy up for a proper movie night in the dedicated media room and see if you can tear yourself away from the low-level sofa and plush Fat Boy bean bags. A comprehensive entertainment system, wall mounted flat screen television and a selection of DVDs will ensure that there’s always something good on.

Study

A pretty and functional study that serves as a great place to find quiet and solitude, ideal for those who need to bring work on holiday. Guests will find focusing a breeze and the views a comforting backdrop.

Wet Room

This is a perfectly placed wet room for coming in after long days at the beach, or embracing the nearby coastal walks. This wet room and WC comprises two rainfall shower heads as well as two hand held shower heads, heated towel rail and wall-hung wash basin.

Boot Room

The boot room is cleverly located next to the wet room, perfect for hanging up wet clothes, wetsuits and storing away muddy boots before jumping into a nice hot shower.

A convenient utility room provides your laundry needs with a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as serving as an additional convenient space to store luggage and footwear.

A revitalising shower to start the day in the sizeable walk-in shower or an indulgent soak in the deep bath tub await the lucky occupant of this master bedroom.

This excellent use of space enables this holiday home to cater several families holidaying together, or large groups. A deep and sturdy stepped ladder provides safe and easy access to the upper bunks.

Bedroom Four

Yet another room with a view, bedroom four also benefits from sweeping landscape views and a wonderful en-suite shower room with a cascading rainfall showerhead before that same iconic wave wall. The plump super king double bed is one of three within this property that can be separated into two singles for added versatility.

Bedroom Five

Bedroom five is almost identical to bedroom four with its pleasant garden views that take the imagination down the coastal path to Perranuthnoe beach. A large and inviting bed can either be made up as a super king double or two singles, whilst the luxury en-suite shower room with rainfall shower head is finished to the highest quality with and elegant white wall-hung basin and concealed cistern WC.

Bedroom Six

Bedroom six by no means falls short the same exceptional standards as the other bedrooms, perfectly positioned to the rear of the property. This spacious double bedroom can be made up as two single deep divan beds or remain as a large double, embracing super king that we challenge anyone to resist awakening from.

Family Bathroom

Whilst four out of the six bedrooms benefit from dedicated en-suite bathrooms, the remaining two are treated to a magnificent family bathroom with spacious thermostatic walk-in shower. Eyes will instantly be drawn to beautiful deep bath tub, edged in elegant pearly mosaic, with a freestanding faucet. This is where weary limbs meet soothing indulgence – light a candle and finally have some ‘you’ time.

Another seating area towards the front of the house makes the most of the morning and early afternoon sun and an outdoor shower is perfect for coming off the beach.

Just a 10 minute walk from the property, Perranuthnoe Beach is a large, secluded sandy beach at low tide and is popular with surfers. Facilities include a beach café and toilets.
