Newly-built to an impeccably high standard, this unique holiday home combines vibrant splashes of Costa-Rican inspired colour and chic urban undertones.

Whilst meticulously designed to maximise the panoramic views of Sennen Cove, no amount of attention has been spared on the interiors; every piece of furniture, every fitting and detail has been chosen and sourced by the owner personally – who has made this a real labour of love.

 

Guests will revel in the contemporary, open plan living spaces looked upon by the uninterrupted horizon – the centrepiece a striking double-sided wood fire with two mounted Samsung TV’s on either side. For entertaining and special occasions, guests will love the sociable kitchen and dining area, with the induction hob mounted into the breakfast island – allowing the delegate cook to participate with the rest of the group.

Experience Cornwall in this unspoilt location, close to Land’s End, and enjoy Carribean-esque beaches, rugged coastal walks and tranquillity in abundance. Sennen Cove benefits from being close to must-visit attractions, such as The Minack Theatre, and the beautiful towns of St Ives, Penzance and Mousehole.

The immaculately designed kitchen features a Gaggenau induction hob inset into the kitchen island, facing those views and the rest of the room. The rest of the kitchen is equipped to a high specification with a Quooker, integrated Gaggenau coffee machine, oven, steam oven and two warming drawers; a dishwasher and fridge freezer.

Please note: guests with pacemakers should avoid using the induction hob as this can interfere with the device.

Dining

The focal point of the dining area comprises an iconic Guanacaste dining table, made from the protected Guanacaste tree of Costa Rica. These trees can only be used as furniture if they fall through natural causes. The coffee table is made from the same rich wood. Enjoying a celebratory meal around this dining table will certainly make for a memorable occasion, backed by far reaching sea views.

Living

An irresistibly-comfortable, oversized corner sofa occupies the far corner of the room, allowing guests to simply soak up the views, socialise or watch a movie on the Samsung TV, complete with Apple TV.

Bedroom One with Ensuite

This king size room is replete with vibrant pops of colour and enjoys a wet room-style ensuite and flat screen TV.

Descending the magnificent American oak staircase brings guests to the ground floor bedrooms.

Master Bedroom with Ensuite

By now it may be clear to most that Gwel an Treth celebrates the craftsmanship and beauty of authentic stone tiles and beautifully utilised woods. The Master Bedroom is no different. A generous dressing area of luxurious walnut sets this room apart.

A plush super king bed sits forward to revel in the never-ending views, and what a seascape to wake up to via the floor-to-ceiling windows. Throw open the patio doors on warm, balmy days to invite in the fresh sea air. Take a morning coffee sat at the Spanish cedar table on the patio before rousing the troops for breakfast.

The luxurious ensuite continues with the rich, chocolate walnut in an unusual double sink. A standalone bath tub and rainfall shower provide sumptuous pampering opportunities.

A bright, king size garden room, Bedroom Two enjoys lots of natural light, ample storage and a flatscreen TV with Apple TV. The luxurious ensuite wet room features a large, rainfall shower; all bathrooms in Gwel an Treth are tiled in hand cut stone tiles sourced from Miami and San Francisco.

Bedroom Three with Ensuite

This colourful king size room enjoys beautiful sea views and embodies the Costa Rican-influence that is found peppered around the rest of this holiday home, with rustic reclaimed wood furnishings and splashes of colour. Sliding patio doors lead out onto the patio for sunny al fresco breakfasts.

A cool, neutral-tiled ensuite contrasts with the vibrancy of the bedroom, and is compete with a wet room-style rainfall shower.

Bedroom Four with Ensuite

This king size room also enjoys the same sea views as Bedroom Three and the Master Bedroom. The patio doors lead out onto the terrace, where a spiral staircase leads up to the first floor balcony. This bedroom too boasts a luxurious ensuite wet room-style shower.

Please note that whilst the property benefits from five bedrooms, the occupancy is strictly for up to 8 guests.
