An incredibly popular and luxurious self-catering bolt-hole in St Ives

This 16th century Cornish stone house, originally built as a master mariner’s house, has a long rich history. Dramatically renovated in 2012, The Tide House has been transformed into the spacious and homely property you see today. A large open plan living and dining area opens out onto an elegant walled courtyard, opening up this large ground floor space and making it perfect for a special occasion.

Brought into the modern day with well thought-out interior design, yet retaining much of its original character: an exposed stone wall here, a rustic timber beam there and tasteful coastal nuances reminding you of your exceptional beach and harbour side location.

St Ives is a destination that should be on everyone’s bucket list. With 8 beaches to choose from (some hidden and often overlooked by many visitors) St Ives is unarguably entitled to claim the best beaches in Cornwall. The crystal azure waters and fine gold sand beaches have captivated visitors, artists and locals for centuries.

Known for its narrow cobbled streets and rows of traditional stone Cornish cottages, world-renowned arts scene and iconic seafood restaurants – St Ives really does have the whole package.

Please note

The Tide House is available for a limited number of weeks throughout the year. If you would like to book outside of the available dates, please contact us.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in such a beautiful house. We booked this for a 70th celebration and were completely taken aback by how gorgeous and clean the accommodation was. We’ve enjoyed beach time, surfing, harbour jumping, many an ice cream, much shopping and plenty of gin!
