On the ground floor, you’ll find a spacious lounge designed to make social evenings together a pleasure, complete with an L-shaped sofa and a roaring wood fire. Children will relish the Snug, a cosy hideaway inclusive of Smart TV, Sonos sound bar and Xbox 360.

Flowing elegantly from the living room is an spacious kitchen and dining area, the floor-to-ceiling sliding doors pour natural light into this stylish space, which is ideal for elegant dinner parties, al fresco feasts or informal breakfast banquets.

The kitchen encourages culinary creativity, boasting two ovens, a double fridge-freezer, an integrated dishwasher, an induction hob and a central island with breakfast bar, as well as a boiling water tap and Krups coffee machine.

Make the most of long summer evenings by lighting the charcoal BBQ, taking a dip in the hot tub and letting the children burn off their energy on the climbing frame. The hot outside shower is also perfect for washing away the salt after a long day surfing on Polzeath beach.

There is a twin bunk-room and a double bedroom, both conveniently located on the ground floor, with shared use of the family bathroom. Both bedrooms on the first floor offer sumptuous super king beds and immaculate en-suites with deep bathtubs. The Master Bedroom also benefits from its own balcony.

The bi-fold doors create a natural flow between indoor and outdoor living, and the expansive terrace and outdoor table invite open air entertaining. With a sleek central island and on-trend copper accents throughout, Tregarthen’s contemporary kitchen is both stylish and functional. The brand new Siemens double oven, induction hob and warming drawer make cooking a pleasure, and thoughtful touches like a Nespresso coffee machine, Quooker boiling tap, Siemens ice machine and four-berth Dualit toaster have been chosen with convenience in mind. With seating along the breakfast bar and a large dining table, there’s an abundance of space for socialising with family and friends. When night falls, the metallic pendant lighting creates a soft ambience and the Sonos speaker and Samsung Smart TV will keep the whole group entertained.

Finished to an exceptionally high standard, the spacious lounge features a unique mix of coastal chic and urban design. Sitting centre stage is the commanding slate-clad fireplace and Stûv wood burner, which provides comforting warmth on stormy nights. On sunny days, open up the sliding glass doors and savour the coastal air from one of the sumptuous sofas or the enormous arm chair.

TV Room

Ideal for dark evenings and rainy days, the cosy TV room is nestled between Tregarthen’s open plan kitchen and lounge. With a huge Samsung Smart TV, Sonos Soundbar, Xbox One and full Sky package, this quiet haven is perfectly equipped for duvet days and movie nights.

Bedroom 3

With French doors that open up onto the luscious garden, this double room was designed for lazy mornings in bed whilst watching the breeze whisper through the trees. The light and bright design makes the space feel wonderfully peaceful and there’s plenty of space for storing away your belongings.

Bedroom 4

This charming room contains two custom-made full-sized bunk beds. Carefully thought-out details such as individually controlled wall lights and under-bunk storage make this space practical as well as comfortable.

Family Bathroom

Conveniently located just outside Bedrooms 3 and 4 is the sleek family bathroom, which benefits from a Villeroy & Boch bath and waterfall shower, ideal for relaxing soaks after long days at the beach.

Utility Room

Decorated in soft greys and greens, even the utility room exudes style at Tregarthen. With a separate entrance and a hot external shower right outside the door, this is the perfect route for sandy returns to the house. The Siemens washing machine and separate dryer are great for keeping on top of holiday washing and there’s plenty of storage space for outdoor equipment and games.

In the right wing of the first floor is Tregarthen’s beautiful Master Bedroom. With pops of teal and trendy ombre soft furnishings, this sumptuous king size room reflects the natural colours of the surrounding coastline. Through the large French doors is a delightful balcony, decked out with modern geometric chairs and mini coffee table. There’s no better spot to enjoy an open air breakfast whilst savouring the elevated views of the garden and rolling countryside beyond. The adjoining en-suite features his and her sinks, a luxurious Hoesch bath tub and a massive walk-in shower, all edged in textured slate.

Bedroom 2 and En-suite

Tucked away in the left wing of the first floor is Bedroom 2, benefiting from an opulent super king bed and en-suite. With interior details like delicate wood panelling, soft wall lighting and touches of dove grey, this tranquil room invites relaxation. Open up the floor-to-ceiling Juliette balcony doors and relax in the reading chair with your favourite novel. Tucked away in a private corner is a luxurious wood-clad hot tub, ideally located for watching the children play on the wooden climbing frame and expansive lawn. Edged by soft outside lighting and borders bursting with wild flowers, the terrace is a lovely spot for taking advantage of the charcoal barbecue and eating outdoors on balmy days. The hot external shower is handy for washing away sand and salt after beach adventures.

Parking

The large gravel drive has ample space for parking up to five cars, and the side gate provides direct access to the garden from the front of the property.

Hot tubs: *Please note the hot tub is emptied and cleaned out after every booking. Occasionally this may result in the hot tub not being up to maximum temperature on the first night of your arrival.
