With direct access to Mawgan Porth beach, accessible from the spectacular landscaped architectural garden, this is beachside luxury on a whole other level.

Five beautifully furnished bedrooms, three with en-suites, have each been carefully considered to make every guest feel at home. Covetable beach and sea views can be enjoyed from most rooms within the house, as well as the spacious decked balcony and beautifully landscaped garden and patio terrace.

Families and groups will love the proximity to the golden beach, the local amenities of Mawgan Porth and the fine dining of award-winning Scarlet Hotel, as well as the short drive or coastal walk to the stretching sands of Watergate Bay.

The kitchen benefits from excellent appliances including a full size double American-style fridge freezer complete with water and ice dispenser and an enormous 5 ring Falcon gas range and double oven & grill. The large kitchen breakfast island features a concealed tower plug socket that pulls out from the worktop – perfect for plugging in appliances and electronic devices.

Dining Room

A natural solid wood dining table seats 10 comfortably on stylish bamboo chairs and enjoys views across the landscaped garden, the headland and down to Mawgan Porth beach. Sliding patio doors lead out to the paved patio terrace and outdoor dining area for beautiful sunset dining.

This room, along with the lounge, TV Room and Master Bedroom, benefits from a Loewe Multi room music system which is compatible with most Apple products and MP3 players.

Lounge

The lounge is one of those spaces that makes you feel welcome as you as you set foot through the door. Two large plump sofas alongside a deep armchair welcome you in an embracing hug, situated around a large artisan coffee table. A beautiful feature fire place surrounds an adorable white decorative wood burner.

A 40” Sony Bravia flat screen TV is equipped with Sky+ and Sony DVD player, whilst a separate wall unit full of books provides inviting reading material for those that wish to sit in peace and quiet and have a good read. Just behind the sofas sits a plush, solitary leather armchair perfect for just that – positioned in front of a full length patio door to take in the views whilst getting stuck into a great novel.

Study Area

Also located in the lounge is a charming little study area tucked away in the corner. What once used to be the position of the original spiral staircase is now a raised slate-floored study area equipped with an elegant glass-topped writing desk and filing drawers – a wonderful space for anyone who needs to address work matters whilst on holiday.

Utility Room & Wet Room

Not a single room as been neglected or overlooked in this stunning house, and the utility room alone is testament to that. This is an excellent space covered from floor to ceiling in large slabs of warm grey flagstone tiles. Miele washing machine and tumble dryer provide all of your laundry needs opposite a large natural carved wooden bench beneath sturdy hooks – the ideal place to come in after a long walk along the headland or a day at the beach and jump into the spectacular wet room. TV Room

Leading on from the utility room is this fabulous TV room tucked away at the back of the house, complete with its own miniature kitchen with wine cooler, microwave, integrated fridge and coffee machines – perfect for getting the popcorn ready and grabbing a drink mid-film. This is the perfect space for a movie night on the rich brown L-shaped leather sofa set in front of the 46” wall mounted Sony Bravia flat screen TV. The full Sky HD package and Sony BluRay player enables separate viewing to that of the lounge.

Bedroom Five with En-suite

This luxury twin bedroom is located on the ground floor with easy access from the main entrance and to the rest of the ground floor amenities. Considerately designed for elderly guests and family members with mobility difficulties, the luxury en-suite bathroom includes a level access thermostatic shower equipped with safety rail and shower seat for ease and comfort. A beautiful designer wall-hung sink, heated towel rail and Geberit wall hung WC complete this beautiful room.

Garden

A beautifully landscaped, and generously sized garden is a lovely asset to the property, allowing guests the choice of enjoying the sun from their own lawn or the beach. A fenced-off gently flowing stream runs along the length of the garden, all the way down to the beach. Guests will discover numerous nautical artefacts dotted around the garden that pay homage to its beachside location.

A sweeping decked balcony that spans the length of the house, wrapping around part of the front, is reminiscent of a grand cruise ship’s deck. Furnished with sun loungers and table and chairs, this expansive balcony is accessed via Bedroom Two, Bedroom Two’s en-suite and Bedroom Three.

My family and I had a wonderful week at this amazing property. The location was incredible with beautiful views of the sea and just a few paces from the gate at the bottom of the garden were the steps down to the beach.
