Poldark, the popular TV drama series from the 1970’s, has been remade by BBC One and is being screened from the 8th March 2015. Many shots are on location in Cornwall, and the TV series is based on the fabulous Poldark novels by Winston Graham.
The new eight part series sees Captain Ross Poldark, played by Aidan Turner (The Hobbit Trilogy, Being Human) return to his beloved Cornwall from the American war of Independence in 1783 to find his world not as he left it. His father had died, Britain is in recession, his family mine has been closed and his beloved is about to marry his cousin.
We cannot wait for Poldark to be brought back to life and the Perfect Stays team will all be glued to their sets looking out for Cornwall location shots.
