From the outside, The Hideout blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, with its grass-covered roof, natural brickwork and glass-edged terrace. In stark contrast, the bold and playful interiors are guarunteed to surprise and delight.

Overlooking luscious headlands and golden sands, bring everyone together in the pastel-hued living space, with a huge corner sofa and log burner. A stylish setting for moments of calm, prepare summer cocktails and sharing platters in the kitchen before retreating outside for lazy afternoons in the sun.

Tucked away at basement level is The Hideout’s best secret: an incredibly sleek games room and cinema. Akin to a metropolitan hangout, the neon lights, exposed bricks, drinks fridge and pool table create an oh-so-cool setting for hours of entertainment.

The quirky design continues into the four bedrooms, which sleep up to eight guests. With ocean views from the bed and hanging chair, the master bedroom features a king sized bed, polished concrete floors, an industrial-style en-suite and a ‘hidden’ bathtub. Another perfectly formed double room and family bathroom are just next door. And a pretty king sized bedroom and en-suite can be found at the top of a small flight of stairs. Children will delight in the adventurous fourth bedroom, which features a climbing wall and indoor slide above the zip and link bed, as well as another en-suite.

Encircled by a sea-view terrace and grassy roof garden, enjoy tranquil evenings in the cedar hot tub once the children are in bed. Dog friendly and a short walk from Mawgan Porth’s beach, shops, cafés and spas, The Hideout makes a stylish base for exploring North Cornwall.
