Upstairs in the open plan living space, transport yourself to a tropical oasis where sparkling ocean views span the whole floor, and high-vaulted ceilings see natural light pour in. Finished in soft blue velvet, two sofas sit in front of the wood burner, welcoming cosy evenings spent as a group.
Featuring mottled grey cabinetry and sleek white quartz, the kitchen looks across the spacious living and dining area. Pull up a leather bar stool and chat with your private chef as dinner is made, or slide open the patio doors to reveal spectacular views across Sennen Cove, one of the best surfing beaches in the country.
Stretching as far as Longships Lighthouse and the Isles of Scilly on clear days, the terrace just beyond makes the perfect setting for appetizers.
With its own bathroom and dressing area, the master suite on the ground floor also commands stunning views over West Cornwall, best enjoyed from the king size bed. The family bathroom and three further sea-view bedrooms occupy this floor, benefiting from chic tiled en-suites or Jack and Jill bathrooms, and a mixture of fixed and zip and link king size beds.
On the lower ground floor, a further bedroom and cinema room reveal a quieter side of the house, where guests can peel away for some downtime. Breakwater also has a utility and a sea-view home office, adding a touch of luxury to any working-from-holiday-home emails. Outside, a bubbling hot tub, dining table and cluster of sun loungers create a haven where the sound of the ocean is never far away.
With the crashing waves and sunkissed sands of Sennen Cove on the doorstep, enjoy morning surfs and twilight beach walks. The Old Success Inn pub sits within a 10 minute stroll, while further afield there are great day trips towards Land’s End, plus first-class spas in St Ives and Mullion.

Vibrant orange beanbags plus a blue velvet armchair and l-shaped sofa add a further pop of colour, while the sliding doors lead straight out into the garden when it’s time for fresh air.
Bedroom Five
A great option for those wanting a peaceful stay, bedroom five is calm and private, enjoying direct access onto the garden through sliding doors. Open Plan Kitchen, Living and Dining Area
Set beneath high vaulted ceilings and with the ocean just beyond, this space is as homely as it is impressive. The cool-toned quartz kitchen is kitted out with Miele appliances, including a double oven, warming drawer, induction hob and dishwasher. There’s also a Quooker tap and a Nespresso coffee machine, ready for sea-view breakfasts at the island which seats four.
Over in the living area, a crackling wood burner and Samsung Smart TV await for cosy nights in. The two large velvet sofas are finished in soft teal velvet, while a large dining table just behind provides the perfect setting for family meals, seating 10.
Encompassing the whole space, vast sliding glass doors reveal sparkling views across Sennen Cove and beyond. Step out onto the balcony for a glass of chilled champagne for fresh Cornish air while dinner is prepared.

Quiet Room
Finished in deep turquoise and with a rounded feature window looking out across the water, this is a tranquil spot to take in the spectacular surroundings. The doors lead straight out onto the first floor terrace, where sights and sounds of the ocean await.

Making the most of Breakwater’s sprawling coastal vista, the first floor terrace spans the whole length of the house and is conveniently located just outside of the kitchen, living and dining area. Garden and Dining Terrace
Just like the interiors, the outside space was designed with relaxation in mind. Enjoy breezy summer lunches at the dining table which seats 10, challenge friends to a game of table tennis, or get lost in a book from the comfort of a sun lounger. Children can let off steam on the grassy lawn while grown-ups raise a glass and plan tomorrow's activities, either from the beautiful curved seating area or the swinging egg chair.
For avid beach-goers, there’s also an outdoor shower, bodyboard store and a wetsuit drying area that makes coming back as a family hassle-free.
Hot Tub
Bubble away in the hot tub as clouds float by overhead and surfers ride waves on the beach below – Sennen Cove is considered one of the best in the world.
