Activities on your doorstep

There are many great things to do for everyone, right on the doorstep of Porth Enys House. The 'Local Area’ page has been designed so that you can have a snapshot to see just what’s available in the immediate locality and a bit further away. Our inclusive concierge team and holiday planners will be able to help you book anything that you want to do during your perfect stay.

Concierge Services

We provide an inclusive concierge service to all our guests staying at any of our luxury holiday homes. Just think of all that time that we can save you making dinner reservations, organising a chef, booking the kids in for surf lessons, or we can just be a resource for the lowdown on everything local!

There is no additional charge for this telephone concierge service and we do not mark up any services that we procure for you. It's our most highly rated and talked about service and if you want us to help organise anything for your stay, just call us for more information.

Additional Housekeeping

We can offer a whole range of additional housekeeper services to suit you and your individual requirements. If you are looking for daily or regular housekeeping during your stay, or perhaps more frequent linen and towel changes, then this can normally be provided by our housekeeping partners.

There will be a local service charge to pay to the housekeeping company although our concierge team can organise this for you. n.b. Some housekeeping companies do not always work on Sundays and have a minimum service time.

Babysitting

Babysitting or childcare can be a very important part of a stay, particularly if you want to go to perhaps a great fine dining restaurant or maybe spend the day on non child friendly activities.

We have access to a number of childcare professionals or local babysitters that are close to all our properties. n.b. Due to insurance reasons, we only pass on names and numbers and leave you to make the final decision on who to employ.

Bike Hire

If you don’t want to bring your bikes with you on your stay, we can hire them for you and have them delivered to the house. If you just want to turn up at one location and cycle to another, our cycle hire partner can also deliver and collect them from any location in Cornwall.

There are a whole range of different bikes and accessories that can be hired including bike child seats! All bikes also come with helmets, locks, puncture repair kits, pumps and spare inner tubes.

Board and Kayak Hire

If you need to hire surf boards, paddle boards or kayaks for the duration or part of your stay, we can organise this for you.

We can source surfboards suitable for all abilities, such as foam boards for beginners. Kayaks are a great way of exploring the incredible coastline and waterways near your holiday home.

The general requirement is that you must be able to swim before you can hire any equipment. We strongly recommend that you always obtain professional lessons before ever taking to the water, which we can also organise for you.

Boat Trips

Whether it’s a private boat charter to enjoy a relaxing afternoon exploring the coastline, a day out at sea to catch some fish for dinner, or a high speed ride on a rib searching for wildlife, we can arrange it for you!

Private group trips are available and trips range from 2 hours to full days. Ask our concierge team for more details.

The house itself was fantastic. The views spectacular. First class facilities throughout the property. Beautiful property in such beautiful surrounds. What a wonderful holiday. Thank you so much.

The Morral Family, Bradford

Just wanted to drop you a line to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Porth Enys House. It totally lived up to the hype – the views are exceptional. We will definitely be returning!

The Milne Family, London

We have recently returned from Porth Enys House after our Christmas stay, and just wanted to drop you a line to thank you and the rest of the team at Perfect Stays for a wonderful visit.

The house was beautiful, very comfortable and everything was thought of, even down to having a box of toys to amuse the children whilst indoors. We would also like to say a special thank you to Lorraine for meeting us and talking us through everything on our arrival.

We will be using yourselves again next time we look at going away.

The Buckley and Murphy Family, Kent

We had a fabulous holiday at Porth Enys House. The location is absolutely incredible, we spent most of the time staring out of the windows! The house has been thoughtfully and well equipped so even during wet weather, we could eat in and enjoy the cinema room and still feel as though we having relaxing time with no compromises.

We particularly appreciated the outside space and quirky landscaping, the children had a huge amount of space to enjoy and explore. We were a group whose ages ranged from six years old to seventy and the house and beautiful village of Mousehole ensured we had a truly wonderful holiday. We will return!

The Yoxall Family, Cumbria

We all loved the property, and the location, as you can guess because we had the ‘extra day’ organised. This property allowed us all to have our own ‘space’ if we wanted it and to come together in the evening to watch a movie and share popcorn!

The housekeeper and gardener made us feel so welcome. The weather was brilliant – only a few showers – creating wonderful rainbows, some ending in the sea. Oh! The climate was amazing, for this time of the year, making walks in the area just magical and the views breathtaking. We really want to come again and those were the words our mum used when she walked around outside – so it had to be special!

The Bradley Family, Somerset

It was a big birthday celebration weekend and it was a choice between New York or Mousehole… guess which won! We stayed at Porth Enys House, it was truly magical. The weather was beautiful during the day and stormy at night. Looking out at rough seas while we sat round a wood burning fire drinking Rioja – PERFECT. There were eight in our party and everyone thought the house was fab. The quirkiness made it even better. I must just mention the beds… so comfy! We all decided Cornwall won over New York. Highly recommended.

The Binmore Party, Devon

Beautiful house surrounded by lovely grounds for the dogs to explore then cool off afterwards in the pond. Great time was had by all and yes, it was a ‘Perfect Stay’.

The Newman Family, London

We had a lovely stay at Porth Enys, it’s a beautiful house and very well appointed. Mousehole is a delightful town and well served by its pubs and restaurants. We had excellent meals at the Cornish Range, 2 Fore Street, the Coastguard and the pub on the harbour. Thank you so much.

The Parish Party, Kent

We all had a superb time, the property is very special as you know. Again, many thanks for a fantastic holiday.

Porth Enys provided a marvellous backdrop for our holiday/wedding with our family, we will be back again.

The Walker Family, County Down

Thank you so much for a perfect week. Heaven on Earth. Wonderful views from every room. Weather 10/10, we loved sitting outside. The telescope was a fine talking point for Grandad. The girls loved the TV room and also their stay in The Lookout.

The Harvey Family, Worcester

What a truly fabulous place to be able to stay. One week was definitely not enough, next year it will have to be 2 weeks minimum. Magical retreat for a family, a real home from home. Lovely house in fantastic position.

A wonderful and relaxing stay. One of the best views in the South West!!
