Fabulous theatrical events in Devon and Cornwall this April

The rugged coastline, wild moorland and stunning beaches of Devon and Cornwall provide a unique backdrop for theatrical productions. Whether you’re perched high above the Atlantic Ocean at the Minack, or nestled under the canopy-covered Sterts Theatre on Bodmin Moor, the surrounding landscape adds a touch of magic to performances. The South West is also well known for superb independent theatre companies, including the brilliant Kneehigh and the enchanting Rogue Theatre.

Go wild with Rogue Theatre in Tehidy Woods

30th March – 9th April | Tehidy Woods, Redruth, Cornwall

3rd – 14th April | The Minack Theatre, Porthcurno, Cornwall

10th – 14th April | Northcott Theatre, Exeter, Devon

The fantastic Kneehigh is an internationally renowned Cornish theatre company. From 10th – 14th April, they will be performing The Flying Lovers of Vitebsk, a theatrical masterpiece based in Russia. A true gem in Cornwall’s cultural crown, The Hall for Cornwall plays host to a huge range of musicals, ballets, plays and performances. Feel entranced by the Royal Opera House Live in Dartmouth

4th April | The Flavel Arts Centre, Dartmouth, Devon

If you love opera, or you’re simply looking to expand your cultural horizons, a screening of the Royal Opera House Live Macbeth will be held at The Flavel in Dartmouth on 4th April.
