The Tate Family, Guildford
To the owners of the very lovely Compass Point – thank you for the very best New Year’s Eve we have ever had – your house is fabulous, the view perfect and the village and people of Coverack entirely charming.
The Paris Hotel is our new favourite pub and the perfect way to dance in the New Year. The Greenhouse in St Keverne was equally good, as was Rick Stein’s in Porthleven. Great walk to Cadgwith today – truly beautiful. Please can we come back?
Fall in love with the ethereal elegance of this beachside oasis
Anchored at the edge of the ocean, Compass Point exudes the coolness of a New England style beach house while promising unsurpassed luxury. With transcendent views to stir the soul, let long days drift by to the soothing soundtrack of waves lapping the shore. Forever versatile, Compass Point transforms from airy summer aesthetic to cosy winter hideaway with ease.
An example of open plan living at its finest, the vast first floor kitchen and dining area blend timeless style with impeccable design. Open up the expansive glass doors and gather on the elevated terrace for sunrise breakfasts and light lunches in the sea-salted air. An idyllic spot for storm watching, the first floor lounge centres around the wood burner and is draped in warm furs and textured throws.
Tucked away on the ground floor, the beautiful Master Bedroom leads straight onto the terrace, with the sunken cedar hot tub just footsteps away. Two additional bedrooms, a Family Bathroom and TV Room complete the fresh and bright ground floor while the final bedroom occupies a penthouse position at the top of the house. With plenty of spots for daydreamers, balmy afternoons are best spent relaxing on the covered decking and sunbathing in the coastal garden. And as night falls, meander down to the beachside tiki hut for a nightcap before retreating to the hot tub for a moonlit dip.
Perched above the beach on the edge of Coverack, leave the car and spend a long weekend exploring the local cafés, shops and restaurants on foot. For adventurers, the surrounding Lizard Peninsula provides a taste of Poldark country and the legendary Kynance Cove is a short drive away. With Flambards Theme Park, the Cornish Seal Sanctuary and Goonhilly Earth Station nearby, there’s an array of options for memorable day trips.
Compass Point is brand new to our portfolio and additional information and photography is coming soon. Call 01208 895570 for further details.
