Tina left behind a FTSE 100 career to move to Cornwall. London born, but with her father’s Cornish blood in her veins, she found a love for North Cornwall and visited almost weekly, so the decision to move permanently seemed an entirely natural one. A workaholic, Tina is also co-founder of both Perfect Stays and an award-winning holiday home services business. Her organisational skills are legendary and her enthusiasm is infectious and, when not working, Tina can be found discovering parts of Cornwall that she has not yet visited or restaurant research!

Scott was the joint founder of Perfect Stays. A workaholic with bags of energy, he was passionate about everything to do with each step of the process in renting high-end luxury holiday homes. After leaving an executive position within a FTSE 100 company to return back home to Cornwall, he jointly set up an award-winning holiday home services business which gave him an incredible insight into the world of luxury self catering and the perspectives of agents, owners and guests. Scott passed away in June 2015.

Born and raised in Somerset, Emily graduated from Plymouth University in 2011 with a passion in all things to do with travel. She initially started a career in retail, but during a weekend visit to Cornwall visiting friends, she decided to relocate to Cornwall and find her dream job. We are so glad that she did and she joined Perfect Stays within a few weeks of moving. Emily spends a lot of her spare time with her friends and family enjoying the beach lifestyle. She is the official office chocoholic and we think that she personally keeps Cadbury’s share price in a positive place!
When she’s not crunching numbers, she’s hiking through jungles in Thailand, climbing mountains in Africa or trekking the Andes for charity; Ruth is our worldly Finance Director. Prior to training as an accountant, Ruth managed her own interior design business. Coming to work at Perfect Stays is a happy amalgamation of Ruth’s passion for beautiful homes and tenacious numerical talent.
Mum to one son and a big-eared dog, in 2015 Ruth partook in a motorcycle teddy bear relay around the country in July to raise money for charity, with another 90 riders taking part the event set a new World Record.
Like many of the team, Sam grew up in the South West in North Devon, and comes from a hospitality background, with a wealth of experience in Business Management. As the first point of contact for any second homeowners considering joining the Perfect Stays portfolio, Sam is a crucial member of the team and the company’s continued growth. Having recently rediscovered his love for golf, Sam can often be found swinging a 9 iron around some of the county’s renowned courses or listening to his favourite band Blue – or both simultaneously!

Joe is a Cornish boy at heart who loves exploring the enormous county in order to recommend places to visit and restaurants to eat in. Having studied Events Management and Tourism at University, Joe gained valuable experience at Wembley Arena in London before returning to his roots in Cornwall. Before joining the Perfect Stays team, Joe worked for the one and only Rick Stein at his Padstow accommodation and Seafood Restaurant, so we were delighted when Joe decided to bring some of his expertise in customer service to our team.
Joe is our cheeky chap from the Midlands, not that he ever mentions he’s from Wolverhampton, much! Having holidayed in Cornwall since he was a young boy, Joe decided to bite the bullet and move down to the West Country, joining us in the Summer of 2017. There is never a dull moment when Joe is in the office and his upbeat personality keeps us all smiling. When he isn’t advising customers on where they should spend their holidays, Joe can be found on the golf course or playing/watching football.
Hailing from Southampton, Pippa studied at Plymouth University before migrating even further west to the bright shores of Cornwall, joining the Perfect Stays team in 2017. A powerhouse of positive energy and organisation, Pippa oversees the smooth running of the office, carrying out essential administration and accounting work – in effect, she’s the glue that holds the office together! When not at the gym, you can usually find Pippa in her kitchen baking her famous brownies, or planning her next snowboarding holiday.
