Giving back
We’re proud of our roots in the South West and passionate about supporting the communities that make our region so special.
With a dedicated team of Charity Ambassadors at Perfect Stays, we aim to work with a different local charity each year. We support their fundraising efforts, promote and attend their events, and use our platform to raise awareness about the brilliant work they do. Previously, we’ve worked with the Ocean Conservation Trust, The Wave Project and Children's Hospice South West. This year, our chosen charity is FareShare South West.
Our team members are also entitled to an annual paid volunteering day to support a local charity close to their heart. Alongside this, we’re committed to championing youth employment and career progression in Cornwall, and we’ve welcomed numerous work experience students in recent years.

Our chosen charity
In 2025/26, we're proud to be supporting FareShare South West. Established in 2007, they're the region’s biggest food and environment charity.
With warehouses located in Plymouth and Bristol, FareShare rescue surplus nutritious food from local suppliers. In 2024, 4.1 million meals worth of food was saved from landfill and shared with the local community through their projects.
Thanks to their team of over 350 volunteers, food parcels are delivered to more than 360 charities, food banks and schools spanning from Gloucester all the way down to South Cornwall. These food parcels make millions of meals, supporting real people, while reducing the amount of quality food that’s otherwise wasted.
By working alongside local farmers and retailers, FareShare are providing dignity, health and joy to thousands of people in disadvantaged areas across the South West.

Every £1 raised throughout this partnership, will enable enough food for four meals to be distributed across the region.
By supporting FareShare South West, not only are you helping to tackle food insecurity, you're also supporting youth unemployment and marginalisation through the charity’s volunteering and FareChance employability programmes.
You can join us in making a positive impact in the South West. We’ve set up a Just Giving page so anyone can donate to FareShare South West and make a difference to the lives of those within the community. Thank you in advance for your support.

Volunteering days
Our team are entitled to an annual paid volunteering day to contribute to causes they're passionate about. This year, we've helped support a variety of charities and organisations located here in the South West, from helping with feeding, grooming, and exercising animals at RSPCA shelters to sorting and storing donated items at local food banks.
Additionally, our team have attended events including the Royal Cornwall Show with the Guide Dogs charity to increase awareness of the vital work they do here in the UK.
