Giving back

With a dedicated team of Charity Ambassadors at Perfect Stays, we aim to work with a different local charity each year. We support their fundraising efforts, promote and attend their events, and use our platform to raise awareness about the important work they do.

We’ve worked with the Ocean Conservation Trust, The Wave Project and Children's Hospice South West. In 2025/26, the Perfect Stays team were thrilled to have raised £3,462.60 for FareShare South West, who support local families and reduce the amount of quality food going to landfill.

We put a great deal of thought and care into our initiatives surrounding sustainability, community support, and responsible tourism. We strive to continually enhance our positive impact on local people, and so, our team members are entitled to an annual paid volunteering day to support a local charity close to their heart.

Alongside this, we’re committed to championing youth employment and career progression in Cornwall, and we’ve welcomed numerous work experience students in recent years.

Our chosen charity

We're thrilled to confirm that in 2026/27, we'll be supporting not one, but two brilliant charities: Cornwall Air Ambulance and Devon Air Ambulance.

Every day, their dedicated crews provide lifesaving critical care to people across the South West, reaching those in urgent need when every second counts. Whether on rugged coastlines, remote moorland or busy roads, the charities respond to more than 3,000 emergency missions between them each year.

Cornwall Air Ambulance and Devon Air Ambulance both rely on the generosity of supporters to keep their helicopters flying and their critical care teams on the road. We're excited to see where this year's fundraising journey will take us, and the impact it will have on our local communities.

Volunteering days

Our team are entitled to an annual paid volunteering day to contribute to causes they're passionate about.

In recent years, we've helped support a variety of charities and organisations located here in the South West, from helping with feeding, grooming, and exercising animals at RSPCA shelters, to sorting and storing donated items at local food banks. Our team have also attended events including the Royal Cornwall Show with the Guide Dogs charity to increase awareness of the vital work they do here in the UK.

Our chosen charity for 2025/26 was FareShare South West, so in November, we visited their Plymouth warehouse to pick and pack orders heading out into the local community. See what we got up to on our Instagram reel.
