This picturesque fishing harbour and seaside town attracts countless visitors all year round. Voted best family holiday destination by Coast magazine, popular attractions include Tate St Ives, Barbara Hepworth Museum and the Sculpture Garden. So that you can make the most of your time spent exploring the town and all it has to offer, we've put together a list of short and long-stay car parks located across St Ives in Cornwall.
Location: 6 Burrow Road, St Ives, Cornwall, UK, TR26 1SYSpaces: 129
In the heart of St Ives, Island car park is sandwiched between Porthgwidden and Porthmeor, so it's perfect for those looking to spend a day on the beach. Prices are determined by the on or off-peak season, starting from £3.20 for up to two hours.
Location: Park Avenue, St Ives, Cornwall, UK, TR26 2DNSpaces: 77
Located a short distance from the centre, this long-stay car park is pay-and-display. You can purchase a ticket using cash, a card, or the Just Park app.
Accessibility notes: Blue badge holders paying a parking fee automatically get one extra hour of free parking. For example, if you correctly display a blue badge and pay for two hours, you can park for three hours.
Location: Station, St Ives, Cornwall, UK, TR26 2BHSpaces: 106
Sat just above Porthminster Beach, Station car park is open 24 hours a day, all year round and it's a five to ten minute walk into the centre of town.

Trenwith car park is the largest in St Ives, located at the top of a steep hill above St Ives Brewery. If you don't fancy the walk into town, a shuttle bus service operates until 11pm during the summer. The car park costs £6.80 for three to four hours and £10.50 if you want to spend the whole day.
Location: Barnoon, St Ives, Cornwall, UK, TR26 1JDSpaces: 124
Barnoon car park in St Ives sits close to Tate St Ives, so it's perfect for those looking to visit the gallery. Slightly sloped, it has a set of steep steps leading down to the gallery. While Barnoon is advertised as a long-stay car park, you can park your car here for as little as an hour, although it is a little more expensive than the other options.
Location: Fish Street, St Ives, Cornwall, UK, TR26 1LTSpaces: 42
This short-stay car park in St Ives is ideally located and has 42 spaces available. The maximum duration for parking is three hours, and there is no return allowed within that three-hour period. However, after 6pm, the car park offers long-stay parking and is open 24 hours a day.
Alternatively, for out-of-town parking in St Ives, there is St Ives Rugby Club (TR26 1ER) with a bus shuttle service or a 15-20 minute walk into town. Buses cost £1.50, and the car park costs £7 for the day.
