Dressed in a Miami-style interior, with orange checkerboard prints, bold pops of pastel colours and an Art Deco feel, SeaSpace encapsulates that joyful seaside holiday feeling. As well as Padel courts, a 70s style swimming pool and nostalgic vibes all over, it’s no wonder SeaSpace is rapidly becoming one of Newquay’s most popular spots. SeaSpace Café is laid back, with plenty of geometric patterns and a light colour palette. Here you can expect classic light bites with a twist. The breakfast menu includes widely known favourite staples like a full Cornish (similar to a full English but with local ingredients) but also stuffed breakfast burritos, sure to fuel your day exploring the Cornish coast. For lunch think BLT bagels, stacked sandwiches and salads. In terms of drinks, there’s a range of revitalising smoothies and barista coffees.

SeaSpace’s standout restuarant, Tallo, isn't one to miss. With checkerboard tiles, intimate lighting and a welcoming atmosphere, Tallo delivers a vibrant neighbourhood feel. The restaurant pairs soulful Italian-American inspired dishes and a New York attitude with a distinct Cornish twist. Expect giant 32-inch pizzas, rich pasta dishes, burgers and crowd-pleasing sharing plates.
Sunsets here are incredible and create a golden hue bound to make you smile. Regular events like “Tallo Tunes” mean this is the perfect spot for an evening out in Porth.
Accessibility notes: Both Tallo and SeaSpace Café are on the ground floor and fully wheelchair accessible with movable seating and tables at different heights. The car park is also flat and smooth with a ramp at the entrance.

Family-run by generational locals, this charming tearoom is housed in a historic cottage dating back to 1646. Now it’s run by the granddaughter of the original owner, Sylvia. Open seasonally, they serve iconic Cornish cream teas, local crab sandwiches, homemade quiches and soups, all on the finest China.
Don’t miss their breakfast, afternoon tea and decadent treats like G&T cake, famous millionaires shortbread and cruffins from Choukette Newquay. Bring four-legged friends or come with sandy toes and always expect a warm welcome.

Open seven evenings a week, experience their sun-soaked terrace with views of the beach. With an off-license serving locally brewed beers, vinyl records and plenty of live music, the relaxed setting is guaranteed to make you feel good.

Once starting its life as a boutique shop named Roo’s Beach, R. Place is the trendiest shop in Porth. Located right next door is their café, R. Place Coffee. It’s the ultimate spot for top-tier caffeine and local artisan bites. They serve Origin Coffee alongside pastries, cakes and sourdough toasties.
Featuring baked goods from local favourites including Basket Newquay, Pink Peach Cake, Gorse Bakery and the famous St Agnes Bakery sausage rolls, R. Place is well suited to those feeling peckish after a day on the beach. Take a coffee away and sip whilst you browse in the shop or sit inside their greenhouse with a nice hot toastie.
