Some of Cornwall’s most beautiful weddings have been held at Lusty Glaze. It was voted the UK’s Best Coastal Wedding Venue in 2019 and has picked up awards from Hitch and Muddy Stilettos in recent years.

From the private sandy beach near Newquay, the team here welcome everything from exclusive family-friendly parties for 100 guests, to intimate elopements with just four of your nearest and dearest. Depending on the season, couples can marry in the Lounge, on the Top Deck, or in the Beach Marquee, where blue seas provide a stunning backdrop.

As well as the usual linen, tableware, heating and lighting that’s provided, venue hire for 2024 to 2026 also includes full set-up and take down of venue decorations and a Wedding Coordinator until your first dance.

When dinner is served, build your own beach menu for £50 per guest and weave some spectacular Cornish flavours into your day – think Cornish mackerel and hake, farmhouse sausages, smoked beef brisket and local ice cream.

An 18th century manor house set in Lanteglos, just outside of Fowey, Tredudwell promises private and picturesque weddings for up to 220 guests. It's a staple of Cornwall wedding venues and welcomes four-legged friends.

Say “I do” under oak beams in the Wedding Barn or host an outdoor ceremony beneath the Garden Temple. Those who favour a church ceremony will find the 11th century St Willow Church just five minutes away – perfect for making a grand entrance back at the reception.

The Pavillion is flooded with natural light thanks to its 15-metre bi-fold windows, and is fully customisable on the big day, meaning each and every Tredudwell wedding is truly unique. Beach-lovers needn’t worry either – the venue sits within easy reach of nearby coves so couples can make a break for the coast with their photographer.

Set within a sprawling 150-acre Saxon estate, Boconnion is one of our favourite wedding venues in Cornwall. After having recently been refurbished, it’s perfect for couples planning beautiful, laid back celebrations.

The Barton Barn overlooks endless countryside and can welcome up to 250 guests across two floors. Host your ceremony and wedding breakfast with 90 guests on the top floor before the party unravels downstairs – fairy lights and candles see the space truly transform by night.

Outside, there’s a fire pit, a tennis court, a heated outdoor pool and a wood-fired Swedish hot tub, meaning plenty to keep guests entertained.

From the early planning stages until the big day, every couple receives tailored wedding planning support from Boconnion’s trusted Caroline Griffiths, who’s always on hand with local recommendations for caterers, florists, stylists and more.

Think of barn weddings in Cornwall and you'd be hard-pressed to forget this venue. Our list wouldn’t be complete without Nancarrow Farm. From its off-the-beaten-track location in St Allen near Truro, it’s been operating as a family farm since 1782 and hosting weddings for over 10 years.

The Rusty Barn is Nancarrow’s ceremony space, with its exposed beams and rustic interior. Being a blank canvas, it’s a great opportunity for creative couples to showcase their personalities through show-stopping florals and riots of colour.

When it’s time to eat, guests can gather in the Old Mill Barn for communal feasting over trestle tables, or socialise in the courtyard with champagne and canapes in hand. Think home-reared organic beef and lamb, fresh salads, roasted vegetables and chocolate desserts.

Summer ceremonies are commonly held outdoors on the Arbor Lawn, before guests make their way into the light-flooded Garden Venue for extravagant home-cooked feasts. Trevenna offer sharing platters served to the table, as well as plated three-course meals, depending on your wedding style.

New for 2024, the Mowhay Bar offers couples an additional space for their ceremony or reception – complete with a wood-fired pizza oven for evening snacks and a well-stocked bar for celebration cocktails.

Each Trevenna couple is assigned a Wedding Coordinator to make the day run smoothly, and the “Just Bring the Dress” package comes highly recommended for those hoping to get organised quickly – your flowers, cake and photographer are all taken care of.

Each Treseren wedding includes an in-house planning and coordination service, and access to the stunning country house set just outside of Newquay. Bursting with camellias and rhododendrons, the garden lends itself to summertime weddings just as beautifully as it does winter elopements, where candles are lit around the fire.

Couples can welcome 90 day guests and up to 150 evening guests, with elopements and vow renewals available to book alongside traditional ceremonies. Marry in the 18th century granite barn or beneath the romantic arbour, surrounded by wildflowers and greenery.

Whether you opt for a plated three course wedding breakfast from the “Carpe Diem” menu, or prefer a more laid back meal with a buffet or hog roast, beautiful dishes are prepared inside the winery kitchen. Think mackerel ceviche canapes, pork and brandy terrine starters, lobster and Cornish Yarg mains, and crème brûlée desserts.

Say “I do” above the ocean at one of Cornwall’s most south-westerly wedding venues. 12 acres of clifftop gardens lend themselves to breath-taking celebrations for up to 90 day guests.

Thanks to Polurrian’s 2019 renovation, there are lots of options for your ceremony space – from the Vista Lounge with its double-height windows and panoramic sea views, to the Cove View Suite which has gorgeous interiors. If an intimate service is on the cards for autumn or winter weddings, opt for the Marconi room – it seats 60 and has a feature fireplace that looks even more magical doused in candlelight. For outside ceremonies, treat your guests to far-reaching views over the Atlantic, stretching across to St Michael’s Mount and Marazion

Polurrian offer both exclusive and non-exclusive packages so couples can make the day their own. Wedding breakfasts are best enjoyed over trestle tables in the hotel restaurant, or if you’d prefer it to be just the two of you, the “Never Let Me Go” package could be tempting. It includes a three-course meal and a bottle of champagne, plus two members of the Polurrian team as your witnesses.
