Just minutes from the beach, experience a laid back coastal lifestyle at Tregoose. Bold colours combine with vibrant soft furnishings in the open plan living area, resulting in a stunning space for entertaining and socialising.
Full height gable windows flood the kitchen, dining and living room with natural light, and huge sliding doors lead onto an ocean view balcony. Sink into plush sofas around the feature wood burner, enjoy holiday feasts at the dining table or shut yourself away in the colourful TV room for cosy movie nights.
Great for families, the enclosed garden is delightful on balmy days and the covered lookout area provides some welcome shelter from both sunshine and rain. There’s also a sunken terrace at the back of Tregoose, which is the perfect suntrap spot for al fresco dining and relaxing in style.
The sleeping arrangements at Tregoose are fantastically versatile, so it’s the perfect property for large groups. All four bedrooms come with super king zip and link beds, which can be made up as twins if required. Set between Port Isaac and Rock, there are plenty of award-winning restaurants nearby, as well as a myriad of activities for children and teenagers in the local area.

Wonderfully versatile, the master bed is a zip and link, so it can be made up as twins if required. The en-suite comes with a large walk-in shower and bathtub in soothing pastel colours.
Bedroom Three
Bold and vibrant, bedroom three is full of statement furnishings and colourful artwork. The super king zip and link bed can be made up as twins, if needed, and there’s a cabin bed offering an additional sleeping space – making this room perfect for a young family, children or teenagers. The family bathroom is just across the hall.
Bedroom Four
Mirroring bedroom three, the fourth bedroom also comes with a super king zip and link bed, along with an additional cabin bed. It shares the family bathroom with bedroom three.
Family Bathroom
Primarily catering for bedrooms three and four, the family bathroom is finished in beautiful royal blue tones. There’s a huge walk-in rainfall shower and a bathtub for sensual soaks after long days exploring the coastline.
Utility/Plant Room
Tucked away at the bottom of the stairs, the utility room houses a Zanussi washing machine and tumble dryer.
Open Plan Kitchen, Living Room and Dining Area
The large, airy kitchen features a sociable central island – ideal for catch ups over cups of coffee from the Nespresso machine as the radio plays over the Sonos speaker. Well equipped with double Siemens ovens, an induction hob, dishwasher, wine cooler and an American style fridge-freezer, this well thought-out space makes catering for special occasions a breeze.
Please note: guests with pacemakers should avoid using the induction hob as this can interfere with the device.
The enormous dining table is at the centre of the open plan living area and looks out across the balcony and those memorable sea views. Sumptuous sofas and a feature log burner make cosy evenings an absolute pleasure, whilst the Panasonic Smart TV with a full Sky HD package, Blu-ray, Netflix and a Sonos soundbar will keep everyone entertained.
TV Room
With splashes of candy colours, plump sofas and comfy beanbags, this is an idyllic spot to lounge in front of the TV or to find some peace and quiet away from the rest of the house. This room is kitted out with the latest technology, including a Panasonic Smart TV, Blu-ray player, Playstation 4, Sonos speaker and full Sky HD package. It also doubles up as a bedroom, with a high quality sofa bed for two.
Guest Bedroom and En-suite
With striking double height ceilings, this bright garden room enjoys the privacy of being set apart from the other bedrooms, down a dedicated set of stairs from the living area. The zip and link bed can be set up as a super king or a twin, and the en-suite features a large walk-in rainfall shower. With direct access onto the sheltered terrace, step out into the brisk sea air for a refreshing start to the day.
Wet Room
With direct outside access, the enormous ground floor wet room is ideal for returning from the beach. Complete with double rainfall shower heads and dedicated wetsuit dryers, there’s also an additional John Lewis washing machine for damp and sandy clothes.
Front Balcony
With comfy rattan furniture and picturesque views across Polzeath Beach, the elevated balcony can be reached from the open plan living area.
Rear Terrace
To the rear of Tregoose, a sunken terrace is an idyllic suntrap, sheltered from wind and enjoying morning and afternoon light. A pair of charcoal barbecues make this a great spot for al fresco dining.
Garden
Tregoose’s flat expanse of lawn is completely enclosed, making it a safe and relaxing environment for children and pets. There’s an outdoor shower just next to the wet room entrance for sandy returns from the beach.
The Lookout

One of Cornwall’s best surfing beaches, Polzeath is perfectly suited to families, bodyboarders and first-time surfers. The local surf schools offer high quality lessons and equipment hire, and George’s Surf School is a brilliant option for one-to-one tuition. A string of iconic beaches can be found along the coast path, including Greenaway, Daymer Bay and Rock. If you’re looking for adventure, we’d recommend coasteering with Cornish Rock Tors and kayak trips with Harlyn Surf School.
This stretch of North Cornwall is heavenly for walkers, with lovely routes from Polzeath to Daymer Bay and on towards Rock. Catch the water taxi from Rock to Padstow and spend the day walking or cycling the wonderfully scenic Camel Trail – there are plenty of options for lunch along the way. If golf is your activity of choice, head to the St Enodoc Golf Club in Rock. Alternatively, Trevose Golf Club and Bowood Golf Club are about 35 minutes away.
Polzeath is home to a plethora of beachside cafés for a quick snack or ice cream. We’d recommend The Waterfront or Cracking Crab for something a bit more substantial or the range of restaurants and pubs in Rock, including The Mariners. Padstow is just across the estuary from Rock, with award-winning options like Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 for special occasions. If you love trying out local tipples, then a full or half day experience with Cornish Wine Tours is not to be missed.
Just above Polzeath is the rustic-luxe Cowshed Spa at the St Moritz Hotel. The ultimate space to relax and unwind, opt for a quick beauty fix or an indulgent full or half day package. The St Enodoc Spa in Rock is a great alternative option for holiday pampering, with a range of restorative treatments on offer. Using a range of organic and natural luxury skincare, you're sure to leave feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated.
There are plenty of alternatives to family beach days nearby, including the Camel Creek Adventure Park and Dairyland Farm World, where little ones can meet the animals before letting off some steam in the indoor play area. Younger children will relish rainy days spent at the charming Old Macdonald’s Farm near Porthcothan. For history enthusiasts, we’d recommend a day trip to the mythical Tintagel Castle, which is about 35 minutes away by car.
