As featured in Harper's Bazaar, Gwel Arvor's sparkling turquoise backdrop sets the scene for memorable holidays. With views spanning miles of the Atlantic in one of Cornwall’s most desirable locations, this home is truly exceptional.
Designed by Iroka Interiors, this coastal home is brought to life by its unique contemporary style. Muted greys and olive greens meet geometric patterns and neutral furnishings, all of which are set against sparkling sea views. With a terrace that spans the width of the ground floor, the open plan kitchen, dining and living space is framed by a spectacular ocean outlook. A deep green accent wall is accompanied by a flickering wood burner and 65" Smart TV for chilly nights, while summer days are best spent with the bi-folds wide open and the sea breeze floating in.
Ascend the spiralling oak staircase and find the master bedroom, with its private sea-view balcony and chic en-suite. A comfy king size bed, soothing colour palette and sliding doors to the outside make this a welcoming spot for morning coffee, where lulling tides lie just beyond. Two further bedrooms occupy this floor, while another pair - one zip and link and one king - complete the bedroom set on the lower ground. Each enjoying en-suite bathrooms and direct garden access, they're well suited to couples hoping to spend plenty of time outside.
Meanwhile, a tempting teenage hangout can be found in the media room. Home to a Smart TV and games console, guests need look no further for indoor entertainment on stormy afternoons.
Outside in the suntrap garden, families can gather for barbeque suppers and special occasion toasts. Where the soft grassy lawn meets a paved patio area, modern dining space and huge corner sofa, children and adults share room to relax. While the addition of a cedar clad hot tub promises to soothe weary limbs after days on the coast path.
Make a reservation at one of Nathan Outlaw’s exquisite seafood restaurants in Port Isaac or wander around the harbour with a fresh scoop of Roskilly’s ice cream. Just 10 minutes away on foot, Port Gaverne is perfect for stand-up paddle boarding, sea swimming and kayaking with an experienced guide from Cornish Rock Tors.

Living Area and Terrace
Stepping foot into the open plan living space, heart-melting views over the Cornish coastline await. Framed by bifold doors that lead out onto the ground floor terrace, it’s easy to lose yourself in the panorama that spans across Port Gaverne and beyond.
Set against a deep green accent wall, you’ll find a 65” LG Smart TV and a flickering wood burner that’ll both be loved on chillier nights. For music enthusiasts, there’s also a SONOS sound bar and built-in Kef speakers to bring every holiday to life. A plush seven seater sofa, two occasional chairs and a pair of stylish structured poufs provide plenty of seating, while Iroka’s coastal design ties the space together with soft velvet cushions and a boucle rug underfoot.
Just outside on the sea-view terrace, take a seat at the low outdoor table with chilled mojitos, or on breezy mornings, peel open the bifolds and let the sunlight pour in.
Kitchen and Dining Area
Finished in muted grey tones and with bespoke cabinetry throughout, the open plan kitchen and dining area sits at the front of the house, enjoying sea views from the oak dining table.
Kitted out with Siemens appliances, including a double oven, warming drawer, induction hob, fridge and freezer, it’s easy to prepare summery lunches or winter feasts. Master Bedroom with En-suite
Sparkling sea views make this king size master bedroom a real haven after salty beach days. Thanks to its elevated position, the suntrap terrace just outside makes a lovely setting to pull up a chair and watch the waves each morning.
Inside, the dark statement wall is softened by neutral linen cushions, matching blackout curtains and subtle touches of peach throughout. There’s a minimalist dressing table with a navy pouf, plus a bespoke built-in wardrobe that offers shelf and hanging space.
As with the other bathrooms, the en-suite is finished in Gwel Arvor’s signature mottled grey tile. There’s a walk-in waterfall shower, and a large backlit mirror that’s positioned above his and hers sinks.
Bedroom Four
Also enjoying its own private balcony, bedroom four is finished in subtle olive green and charcoal accents. Positioned towards the front of the house, sit and plan the day’s adventures with the doors pulled open and the sound of Cornish gulls in the air.
Being a zip and link room, it can be made up as either a super king or twins, providing groups of friends and family with versatile sleeping arrangements. There’s also a shelf and mirror for getting ready each morning, and a built-in wardrobe to hang your holiday favourites.
Bedroom Five
With high ceilings and bold green finishes to its design, the fifth bedroom is lovely and peaceful. At the front of the house and serviced by the family bathroom next door, the zip and link bed makes it a good choice for children.
There’s storage space aplenty thanks to a Scandi-inspired chest of drawers and freestanding clothes rail, while floating oak shelves and geometric window dressings add a fun textural touch.
Family Bathroom
Completing the first floor, the family bathroom has a bath tub and a waterfall shower, and is finished in tonal grey tiles from floor to ceiling.

Port Isaac
Food and drink
Port Isaac is a haven for foodies, and Nathan Outlaw’s restaurants are the talk of the town. Head to Outlaw’s New Road for fresh seafood and perfectly paired wine, or let our Concierge team book your table at the Fish Kitchen, opposite the beach. For more casual dining, head to The Angry Anchovy for delicious pizza, where dogs are welcome too.
Activities for children
The perfect way to start or end a holiday in Port Isaac is with a visit to the nearby Travathan Farm Shop. Home to a ‘pick your own’ strawberry field, a restaurant and farm shop, plus an outdoor play area, tennis court and games room to keep little ones entertained, it’s one of the best places to go for a Cornish cream tea.
Beaches and watersports
With plenty of rockpools and soft sand for children and dogs to explore, the small beach by the harbour is a popular spot in the summer months. Surrounded by shops and restaurants, and always filled with local fishing boats, it has calm waters and infamous twin piers.
Meanwhile, thrill-seekers will love Cornish Rock Tors, who operate out of Port Gaverne just a 10 minute walk from Port Isaac Beach. Choose from sea kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, coasteering or open water swimming, where experienced instructors will teach you the ropes.
Time for pampering
From the St Enodoc Spa in Rock to The Scarlet in Mawgan Porth, you’re never far away from some truly indulgent pampering while on holiday in North Cornwall. The perfect tonic after breezy days spent on the coast path, our team can also arrange in-house spa treatments to take place from the comfort of your holiday home.
Heritage and culture
If there’s one thing that’s synonymous with Port Isaac, it’s Doc Martin. Thanks to local tour guide and Fisherman’s Friend John Brown, visitors can explore the beautiful ‘Port Wenn’ with a one-hour walking tour of the TV-famed village. Amble down towards the beach and pass the doctor’s cliffside cottage, before enjoying a pasty lunch with a view out to sea.
