Five new arrivals plus a hint of what’s to come

We’re excited to share some insider updates from our new and ‘coming soon’ holiday homes. Think luxe beachfront properties footsteps from the sand, and spa-like retreats with pools and hot tubs. As well as a quick recap of the latest homes to join our Cornwall collection, read on for a sneak peek inside four very special homes landing on the website soon...

New arrival: Trelorna in Polzeath

The basics:
Sleeps 10 | Above the beach, hot tub, incredible sea views
In five words or less: a surfer’s paradise above Polzeath
Is best suited to: friends and family with something to celebrate

Trelorna joined us just last week and is already proving popular with guests. It's a gorgeous home brought to life by award-winning architects Cassell Tarring and interior designer Claire Alderson. Sitting high above Polzeath Beach means panoramic views over sand and sea from almost every room.

Trelorna's design style is modern and understated, with vibrant pops of colour throughout that make it an extra special beach house. We think it’s set to become one of our most popular in North Cornwall, thanks to its double balcony, hot tub and fire pit. Meanwhile, the lower ground floor comprises a TV-meets-games-room and bar, so even on bad weather days, the whole family is easily occupied.

New arrival: Eden in Downderry

The basics:
Sleeps 6 | Dog-friendly | Outdoor pool, wood burner, sea views, separate annexe
In five words or less: South Cornwall meets the Mediterranean
Is best suited to: couples and groups of friends

Walking into Eden is like a breath of fresh air, where lovers of the south coast will feel instantly at home. Nestled into Downderry, a quaint village between Looe and Whitsand Bay, a stay here promises a real snapshot of life on Cornwalll’s Rame Peninsula. On the doorstep you’ll find pubs and restaurants like Inn on the Shore, The Conch and The Beach House, while further afield you can be charmed by the pebble beaches at Kingsand and Cawsand.

As for the house itself, Eden is truly spectacular. Best suited to groups of friends, sleeping arrangements are spread across three bedrooms, including room for two in the separate annexe. Sitting just opposite the covered dining terrace, it enjoys its own kitchen and bathroom, as well as sparkling sea views.

A favourite spot of ours, the garden is a real suntrap and complete with an outdoor resistance pool, so you can enjoy spontaneous dips as soon as you wake up or before you go to bed.

New arrival: Gwel Arvor in Port Isaac

The basics:
Sleeps 10 | Dog-friendly | Sea views, Iroka interiors, media room, hot tub arriving soon
In five words or less: relaxation in a buzzing area
Is best suited to: foodies hoping to explore North Cornwall

Gwel Arvor was an exciting addition for the Perfect Stays portfolio last month, and with it came our debut property in picturesque Port Isaac. Sleeping up to 10 guests across five wonderfully thought out bedrooms, this house lends itself to two families hoping to holiday together. The interiors have been designed by Iroka, and the main living space makes way for heart-melting views across the bay. A spectacular weather-watching spot through all seasons, slide open the glass doors to welcome in a summer breeze, or stoke the wood burner on chillier nights after days spent walking the coast path.

There’s a world of foodie delights to explore nearby, from Nathan Outlaw’s restaurants to the newly re-opened Pilchards, less than a 10 minute walk away in Port Gaverne. From set menus to Cornish cream teas, our guide to Port Isaac’s best restaurants sums them all up nicely.

New arrival: Poldhu in Harlyn Bay

The basics:
Sleeps 8 | Dog-friendly | Sea views, hot tub, short walk to the beach
In five words or less: a striking home from every angle
Is best suited to: beach-lovers and four-legged friends

We love Poldhu for its glistening views over Harlyn Bay and beyond. Take in the vista from the first floor lookout lounge or as you prepare a seafood feast in the spacious open plan kitchen. There’s air conditioning for hot Cornish summers, plus a private terrace off the master bedroom that’s perfect for some downtime while the rest of the group wakes up. Above all, Poldhu is a family-friendly home that lends itself to seaside living, and the coast path at the end of the lane takes you straight down onto the sand.

Another new arrival to Harlyn Bay, head to Big Pan Parties throughout the summer for fresh paella after a dip in the sea. They serve a range of Thai, Malaysian and Cornish dishes that promise to please hungry beach-goers.

New arrival: Breakwater in Sennen Cove

The basics:
Sleeps 10 | Dog-friendly | Sea views, hot tub, cinema room
In five words or less: panoramic views over the Atlantic
Is best suited to: multi-generational families

Luxury living at its finest, Breakwater is the place to be if you’re craving a sensational view. Stretching as far as Longships Lighthouse and the Isles of Scilly on clear days, its 180 degree vista is best enjoyed from one of three elevated terraces.

Tucked into the garden, you’ll find a hot tub that’s perfect for balmy September evenings, while inside, the open plan kitchen, dining and living space lends itself to large group meals and special celebrations. There’s also plenty of fun to be had within the cove, from tackling Sennen’s world-renowned surf, to drying off with an ice cold cocktail at Surf Beach Bar.

Properties coming soon...

As well as our recent new arrivals, we have a number of stunning luxury homes that’ll be joining our portfolio soon. To stay up-to-date with our latest properties, sign up to our mailing list and be amongst the first to hear. For now, enjoy a snapshot of what’s to come…

Porthcothan, sleeps 16

Set to be our largest home and one that’s ideal for multi-generational families, we’re excited to welcome a truly magnificent beachfront oasis later this year. Set just by the sands of Porthcothan, it has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, as well as a separate yoga studio. Think mornings in the surf, lunches on the glass-fronted balcony and evenings gathered around the fire pit. Keep an eye on the Perfect Stays homepage - we shot our ‘first look’ photography this week.

Update: the spectacular Noordhoek has landed...

Rock, sleeps 12

Occupying a frontline position just above the water in Rock, another Cornish showstopper awaits. Bringing with it a sunken cedar-clad hot tub, striking interiors throughout and a basement level games room with a pool table and bar, this six-bedroom hideout is not to be missed.

Daymer Bay, sleeps 8

Joining our gorgeous Daymer Bay collection and not far from our much-loved property Sea Breezes, this home will sleep eight guests with beautiful sea views. Dog-friendly and complete with an outdoor pool, it makes a natural setting for summer entertaining.

Porthcothan, sleeps 10

Rounding us off will be a second Porthcothan new build, again just footsteps from the beach. Adults will love taking time to unwind in the steam room or hot tub, while a real teenage hangout can be found in the media room. Five bedrooms mean it’s the perfect spot for family celebrations while in Cornwall.

Don't forget to sign up to our mailing list to be one of the first to hear about the launch of these properties.
