Whether your idea of an indulgent holiday in Cornwall consists of long, scenic trundles along the windswept coast paths, catching up with old friends over Fruits de Mer and a cold Chablis or hunkering down with a good book next to a crackling fire, Corduroy will be your luxurious retreat by the sea.

Perfectly located for making the most of Polzeath, the beach and town facilities are a short walk away, with the popular sailing town of Rock just around the corner.

Reverse-style living ensures the best of the views are enjoyed by the enormous living areas that spread across the top floor; a sleek and open kitchen with large kitchen island gives way to a spacious dining area set before the wood burner. A cosy lounge is furnished with numerous inviting corner sofas for snug nights in front of the TV, while a further seating area set before a Juliet balcony is dedicated to enjoying the sea view. A first floor balcony spans the length of Corduroy, offering an abundance of space to unravel, unwind and truly relax in the fresh Cornish air.

The Ground Floor is comprised of five spacious bedrooms; one super king, two super king with zip and link beds, one double and an additional super king zip and link bedroom with an optional truckle bed.

As of autumn 2019, Corduroy will feature a brand new hot tub.

The master bedroom comprises a sumptuous super king bed, with patio doors opening out on to the stretching front decking. A contemporary en-suite boasts a monsoon shower.

Bedroom Two with En-suite

A spacious zip and link bedroom with a deeply plump bed that offers a twin or super king option and boasts a sleek en-suite with monsoon shower. Patio doors lead to the rear garden area.

Bedroom Three with En-suite

A plush double bedroom promises a restful night’s sleep and benefits from a spacious en-suite with a large monsoon shower and external access via patio doors.

Bedroom Four

Further flexibility is provided within the fourth bedroom that features a zip and link bed, allowing this room to be configured as a super king or twin room. This room has private access onto the front decked area via sliding patio doors.

 

Family Bathroom

A modern, spacious family bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower and deep bathtub effectively serves Bedrooms Four and Five.

Bedroom Five includes a versatile zip and link bed which can be made up as a twin or super king. For extra versatility, an additional truckle bed can be set up if required. Doubling up as a playroom and TV room, families will find lots of board games and a Freeview TV with BluRay player. This room also has access onto the front decked area.

Utility Room

With external access, the utility room as been designed for the surf lifestyle, complete with a dedicated wet area for wetsuits and wet clothing that can be put straight into the washing machine and tumble dryer provided.

Looking out across the entire floor, with a spacious kitchen island, means the delegated chefs will not find themselves isolated from the rest of the group.

Please note: guests with pacemakers should avoid using the induction hob as this can interfere with the device.

Dining Area

Dinnertime is the main event while on holiday with friends and family. With a large balcony extending the length of this first floor, enjoy aperitifs overlooking the pastoral countryside before bringing the whole group together for a chef-prepared meal and toast to the good times. The best conversations happen around the dining table and dwindle long into the evening, so get comfortable around the fire and relish having nothing to rise for in the morning.

Living Area

Recline in comfort on one of the numerous sofas in this spacious living area; plump corner sofas make for relaxed viewing of the LG Smart TV with BluRay player, while a dedicated seating area before the Juliet balcony makes for the perfect sundowner spot with a calming view of the ocean. With a stretching balcony running the length of this first floor, enjoy the sunrise over the undulating countryside with a morning coffee, and catch the last rays dip below the horizon in the evening.
